Grammar Time!!

Hello Children!

In keeping with our struggle to improve our writing skills, I am going to have you complete some simple grammar exercises (this one is on sentence fragments). Go to the following link and complete the exercise:

http://chompchomp.com/frag01/frag01.htm

Then, write a blog post about the experience. How did you do? While this probably wasn't the most fun thing you could be doing, was it beneficial? Do you need more work on this, or can we work on a different writing skill?

  1. This is very beneficial but it is quite easy. If you read the sentence carefully then you will be fine. It would help us but it wont make a tremendous impact

  13. I enjoyed this blog this week because it was very benefitial to me because it helped me understand fragments better. I would like a little more practice with them though because I dont fell a hundred percent comfortable with fragments. I feel that we should do more blogs like this one because it helps me to understand in a better way

  15. In this exercise, I did very good. I found it to be very beneficial and good practice. Although, I think we don't need to work on sentence fragments anymore. We should move on to different writing skills.

  16. I did very good in this exercise. If I didn't get it at first i would read it a few time and i would know what it was. If we work on this more we will catch our little mistakes and not put no sentence fragments in our essay.

  19. I did well but could have done better, i think i have the hang of it as it filled in some gaps i was noticing. It was beneficial but dull, after the review and test i should be more than ready for another writing skill. §¥§

  22. I did it the first time and got it wrong. It was confusing on which one to choose. Then the second time I got it right.I seen that "as" at the begining of the sentence and said to my self "do you really put 'as' in a begining of a sentence, nun not really."then I clicked it and got it right,But the other ones was harder. It was kinda beneficial, but hard to do.I think we need help on this because people will lie and say that this was easy.
